Growing up, food was the center of everything, from holidays to family gatherings to school lunches. Binge watching cooking shows in college, and testing recipes in a dorm while on a student budget, inspired my flexibility with ingredients and definitely my reluctance to use too many utensils or dishes (who wants to do dishes??). I approach the kitchen with a focus on flavors and making things as simple as possible, always ready to swap out ingredients to shake up the routine.
When I'm not cooking, I'm spending time with my family and dogs and always dreaming of the next thing to eat!
Wanderlust has been big lately, everyone is traveling with the insatiable need to explore as many places as possible. Instead of exploring all the gorgeous, remote beaches, I want to explore as many flavors and dishes as possible! Snackerlust can be in any kitchen, anywhere, anytime!
I am admittedly terrible at following recipes so I aim to make mine as easy to follow as possible. There are always things that can be substituted and adjusted to fit your tastes. Cooking is an art so give yourself room for creativity but don't forget to share with me when you find an irresistible combo!
